Introduction

The descendants of John Parnell McGuinness have many armigerous ancestors. The following arms for some of these ancestors were found during the research we are doing on the ancestry of Major James Palmer (fl. 1780-1850). Members of the McGuinness family who also descend from Major James Palmer can take pride in the arms owned by their ancestors, however, it should be clearly stated that they have no right to bear or assume any of these arms.

As our research progresses and we learn of other ancestral arms we will add them to this web page. Please revisit this web page periodically to view our new discoveries.

We hope you enjoy the display of these ancestral arms.
